April is the heart of transformation. As the mountain air turns sweet and the forests turn a vibrant green, it is the perfect moment to reorganize your internal world. This Weekend Yoga Break (April 16–18) is a space designed to stop the “automatic pilot” of a demanding agenda and synchronize your mind with the steady, calm rhythm of nature.
Guided by a Psychologist and a Yogi with 30 years of practice in yoga and meditation, this retreat offers a professional bridge between mental health and the wisdom of yoga. This isn’t just a weekend away; it is an investment in your resilience.
Why this Weekend Break is Your Essential Pause
- A 13th-Century Sanctuary: You will stay at Casa Marterena, a historic Palace where the thick stone walls naturally quiet the nervous system. It is a premium environment that offers a level of safety and nobility that modern hotels simply cannot replicate.
- The Medicine of Irati: Mindful walks and forest bathing in the Irati Forest, the second-largest beech forest in Europe. The April air is crisp and pure—exactly what your immune system needs for the season change.
- Integrated Energy Work: We combine Hatha Vinyasa and Kundalini sessions with Yoga Nidra (deep sleep) and sound healing (Gong or Drum). These practices are specifically sequenced to release the physical weight of chronic stress.
- Psychology for Daily Life: Beyond the mat, we hold professional workshops to help you identify what is draining your energy and how to set healthy boundaries to protect your peace once you return home.
- Ayurvedic Soul Food: Enjoy organic vegetarian full board. Our seasonal menus are designed to detoxify the system and provide the light, clean energy needed for a fresh start.

Spring Reset
Spring marks a turning point: nature blossoms and reminds us to let go of the old to make room for the new. Through yoga, meditation, deep relaxation and breathwork you’ll ease accumulated tension, clear the mind and feel the lightness of renewal.
All levels are welcome. Every session adapts to your rhythm with simple or advanced variations.
The Setting: Navarre Pyrenees, a Place Made for Quiet
Our retreat takes place in the mountain village of Arrieta, surrounded by forest, peaks and silence—just a short distance from the Irati Forest and Roncesvalles. The “Centro de Retiros de Yoga y Meditación Pirineo” is a medieval site that naturally invites stillness. Running water, fresh air and mindful walks become part of the practice.
Here, peace isn’t something you chase—it’s already in the place.
