September is a new beginning. After the expansion and movement of summer, the body and mind crave stability, structure, and calm. This Wellness Retreat (September 4–6) is your opportunity to make that transition consciously. We invite you to leave behind the summer rush and anchor yourself in the serenity of the Navarre Pyrenees before the busy season takes over.
Guided by a Psychologist (Saint Louis University graduate) and Yogi with 40 years of practice, this is more than a break; it is a mental and physical preparation. Here, you will find the space and professional tools to set your intentions for the rest of the year from a place of deep inner peace.
Why is this the perfect start to your autumn?
- The Palace of Silence: You will stay at Casa Marterena, a 13th-century Palace. The solidity of its ancient stone walls offers a sense of security and silence, ideal for deep sleep and recovering your natural rhythms.
- Grounding in Irati: We will practice mindful walking in the Irati Forest, which is just beginning to catch the soft light of early autumn. Contact with the damp earth and fresh air helps center the mind and dissipate “back-to-work” anxiety.
- Yoga for Stability: Hatha and Kundalini Yoga sessions focused on grounding (Muladhara). We work on physical and emotional stability so you feel strong and centered facing the challenges of the new season.
- Psychology of Purpose: Practical workshops to clarify your personal and professional goals from a calm perspective, learning to manage demands without losing your well-being.
- Sound & Healing: Sessions of Yoga Nidra, Gong baths, and Shamanic Drumming. These vibrations help clear accumulated “mental noise” and tune you into your intuition.
- Transitional Cuisine: Full-board organic vegetarian dining. Enjoy a menu that combines the freshness of summer with the first comforting dishes of autumn, nourishing your body without heaviness.
