A Winter Sanctuary for the Stressed Soul

January is the time to breathe, not to rush. After the noise of the holidays, the Navarre Pyrenees offer a different kind of beauty: the profound silence of the winter forest and the restorative power of stillness.

This Winter Wellness Retreat (January 15–17) is designed as a sanctuary. It is a space to stop the clock, nourish your nervous system, and find the clarity you need to begin your year with genuine energy.

The “Cocooning” Experience: What We Offer

Guided by a Psychologist from Saint Louis University (Missouri) with 40 years of practice, you will move beyond simple relaxation into a state of deep reconnection.

  • The Warmth of the Palace: Your home is a 13th-century stone palace. Here, the world slows down. The roaring fireplace is the heart of our practice, providing a safe, warm “cocoon” for your recovery.
  • Misty Forest Healing: Experience the Irati Forest in its most mystical season. Mindful walks through the winter fog act as a natural reset for the mind, clearing the “fog” of daily stress.
  • Restorative Yoga & Psychology: We use gentle Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and sound healing (Gong/Drum) to release the physical weight of burnout and anxiety.
  • Nourishing Ayurvedic Cuisine: Organic, vegetarian meals designed to warm the body and ground the spirit. Soul food made from local, seasonal ingredients.
