At Casa Marterena we understand that committing to your practice is an important and personal step. To confirm your place, we ask for a 50% deposit through our secure payment gateway (BBVA/Redsys). Once your booking is received, we accompany you through the preparations so that your arrival at our 13th-century palace in the Pyrenees is smooth and serene. Confirming your booking implies acceptance of this policy.
Free cancellation up to 15 days before
Your peace of mind comes first. If you cancel your booking 15 days or more before the retreat begins:
- We refund 100% of your deposit, no questions asked and with no penalty.
- The refund is issued to the same payment method used for the booking, through the secure BBVA/Redsys gateway, within a maximum of 10 working days.
- If you prefer, you may keep your deposit as credit towards another retreat within the following 12 months. The choice is always yours.
Cancellations within 15 days of the start date
We know life can bring the unexpected. If you need to cancel during this period, let us know in writing as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to find another person to take your place:
- If we fill your place, your deposit becomes a credit you can use for another retreat with us within the following 12 months.
- If we cannot fill it, the deposit is non-refundable. Our places are very limited and we dedicate personal attention to each participant from the moment they book; this policy allows us to maintain the care that every retreat deserves.
This condition applies regardless of the reason for cancellation. For this reason, we recommend taking out travel insurance that covers cancellations (see below).
No-show
If you do not attend the retreat without having notified us of your cancellation in writing beforehand, the amount paid will be forfeited, with no right to a refund or credit. A WhatsApp message or email is enough: always let us know, even at the last minute, and we will look for the best possible solution together.
Leaving the retreat early
If you voluntarily leave the retreat once it has begun, no refund or credit will be due for services not used. If you have to leave because of a serious emergency, talk to us: we will consider each situation personally and with the greatest empathy.
Transferring your place
Provided you let us know with reasonable notice, you may transfer your place to a friend or family member at no cost. Write to us and we will arrange it together.
Recommended travel insurance
We expressly recommend taking out travel insurance with cancellation cover. It is the best protection against personal contingencies (illness, injury, family or work reasons, transport disruptions) that fall outside the free-cancellation period. The cost is usually small compared with the peace of mind it provides.
If we cancel the retreat
If, due to force majeure, safety reasons or the minimum group size not being reached, we have to cancel a retreat, we will inform you as soon as possible and you may choose between:
- An immediate full refund of everything paid, or
- A credit for the full amount, valid for 12 months, or
- Moving your booking to alternative available dates.
If the cancellation is on our side, the refund of the amount paid is always 100%, without exception. However, we cannot cover external expenses arranged on your own account, such as flights or train tickets, transport, visas, insurance or other additional bookings. For this reason too, we recommend travel insurance.
Payment conditions
- Deposit (50%): paid online at the time of booking, to confirm your place.
- Remaining balance (50%): paid on arrival at Casa Marterena, by card or in cash.
- The price shown for each retreat is all-inclusive: accommodation, vegetarian meals, all activities and materials. VAT included.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the organiser’s total liability towards the participant shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the participant. Indirect damages, loss of profit and travel costs or external bookings are excluded. Nothing in this policy limits the rights granted to consumers by mandatory legislation.
Nature of the service
We provide in-person yoga, meditation and wellbeing retreats. We do not ship physical products, so no shipping policy applies.

Message us on WhatsApp or call us on +34 660 48 85 50, or email info@retirosyogapirineo.com with your name and the retreat dates. Cancellations must be notified in writing (email or WhatsApp). We will reply to you personally.

Right of withdrawal. In accordance with article 103.l of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, as these are accommodation and leisure services with specific performance dates, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. The cancellation conditions described on this page apply instead, and are more favourable in most cases.
